A conversation with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak, might as well be a death kiss for high-ranking officials in President Donald Trump’s embattled administration.
On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions twice met with Kislyak before the election, when Sessions was still a U.S. senator. The meetings themselves were not illegal, but Sessions failed to disclose them when he said in January, while under oath during his Senate confirmation hearing, that he “did not have communications with the Russians” during the campaign.
