Symposium devoted to 160th anniversary of gasification of Slovakia was launched in the period of April 26-27 in Bratislava. Slovakia is among the first countries, where gas extraction and use was implemented. The symposium was organized by International Gas Union in partnership with Oil and Gas Association. Participants of the event were Marosh Shevchovich, European Commission and Commissioner for Energy Union, David Carroll, President of the International Gas Union, Viktor Zubkov, Chairman of the Gazprom Board of Directors, Ashot Grigoryan, Chairman of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe (FAAE), heads of world gas companies, ministers and specialists.
