A patient, who had contracted Crimean-Congo Viral Haemorrhagic Fever (CCVHF), died in a Peshawar hospital on Saturday while two others patients are under treatment in the hospital.
According to reports, three Congo fever patients were admitted to Hayatabad Medical Complex on Friday.
A 16-year-old patient from Afghanistan died as a result of the virus in the hospital on Saturday. A female patient was also admitted and it is said her condition is critical. Blood samples of all patients have been sent for testing. …read more
