Nadiya Savchenko, the Ukrainian air-force pilot captured by Russian-backed rebels in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and sentenced to 22 years in prison in Russia, has been freed in exchange for two Russian held by Ukraine, multiple news reports say.RT, the Russian government-funded broadcaster, reported that Savchenko had landed in Ukraine on President Petro Poroshenko’s plane, and the two Russians, Yevgeny Yerofeyev and Alexander Alexandrov, had made it back home, as well.
