Kiev: Ukraine said on Saturday it had detained two alleged Daesh fighters from ex-Soviet Tajikistan, who had fought in Syria and planned to foment “an Islamic revolution” in their homeland.
The Ukrainian state border service said the two Tajik nationals were stopped after they arrived on Friday from Istanbul in the eastern city of Kharkiv and that both men were on an Interpol wanted list.
