Brussels – Sixty-six journalists were killed in different countries around the world while performing professional duties since the beginning of 2016, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) said Monday.The data was circulated by the federation in relation to the upcoming International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists on November 2, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 2013.According to the IFJ, 11 journalists were killed in Afghanistan, eight in Mexico, seven in Iraq.Five …read more
