Canada has condemned what it says is an “invasion of eastern Ukraine” by Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation, and says NATO leaders gathering next week will discuss how to ratchet up their response to the escalating crisis.
But the federal government did not indicate what further measures it plans beyond sanctions already in place.
