The new US administration has emphatically reminded Nato members of their commitment to invest two percent of their GDP in defence. In the wake of the Ukraine crisis it was resolved in 2014 that this goal would be met by 2024. Apart from the US, however, only Estonia, Greece, Britain and Poland fulfil their military obligations.
