Foreign Minister, Serguei Lavrov, has warned today on some attempts by the European Union (EU) to sabotage the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, to demand more control over the project.
Moscow.- We are concerned by the attempts of some forces in the EU to abort the energy dialogue between that regional bloc and our country, Lavrov said, speaking during a meeting with the Association of European Entrepreneurs.
The idea is to discredit joint projects such as the Nord Stream-2, although its implementation will greatly reduce fuel transit risks and strengthen energy security of the community entity, he said.
