In my view, both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian long-standing conflict have legitimate grievances and aspirations, and both sides are held hostage by their deeply and rigidly entrenched extremists’ diametrically opposing views.
The bomb has been ticking louder and louder, at least since Israel’s foundation in 1947. In my view, the respective extremists’ views appear to inevitably make the bomb explode, with God only knows what disastrous consequences for both sides, the Middle East and the rest of the world.
