A Facebook post from Cor Pan, a Netherlands resident, appears to show Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 before it took off from Amsterdam on July 17.
He posted the image from the Schipol airport just moments before the plane took off.
“If it disappears, this is what it looks like,” he said.
It appears that Pan and his girlfriend Neeltji Tola were leaving the Netherlands for vacation. The flight was bound for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Pan’s Facebook page describes himself as self-employed. It appears that he co-owned Neeltje’s Flowers with his girlfriend.
