Ukraine distributor Naftogaz has signed a deal with Norwegian supplier Statoil to sell gas to Ukraine via Slovakia from 1 October. Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev said EU-financed interconnector pipelines in Europe are “substantially improving energy security”.
