The leaders of the five pro-Western parties in the Ukrainian Parliament have signed a coalition agreement.
The new coalition formed after the October 26 elections unites 300 out of 450 members of parliament, making it possible to pass amendments to the constitution.
The main priorities declared in the coalition agreement include European integration of the country, Ukraine’s accession to NATO, ensuring Ukranian defence capacities, recovery of economic growth.
The coalition is made of President Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s People Front, Yulia Tymoshenko’s Fatherland, Self Reliance and the Radical Party.
