The meeting of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is underway in Moscow.
“We must work and reach agreements for conflicts in Syria and Ukraine, as well as in Nagorno Karabakh and the Middle East. Therefore, we believe that the talks will be productive. We also hope that we shall discuss bilateral relations to which we have already referred with Russian President Putin,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on its official website.
John Kerry met Russian President Vladimir Putin late last evening, Putin’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
