Blogger Alexander Lapshin has been sentenced to three years’ imprisonment by the Azerbaijani court. He was accused of visiting Artsakh without the permission of Baku. The Prosecutor demanded to sentence him to 6,5 years’ imprisonment, so his lawyer Eduard Chernin assessed the decision more than positive. He also didn’t rule out blogger’s extradition to Russia, Israel or Ukraine, as Lapshin is a citizen of those three countries.
To remind, though formerly Lapshin made numerous publications in favor of Artsakh, one day ago he announced that Artsakh must be a part of Azerbaijan. …read more
