At a qualifying tournament held in Ukraine Armenia’s long jumper Gor Nerkararyan qualified for Rio 2016 Olympics after jumping 8m 15 cm.
The Armenian Athletics Team thus has 6 athletes to participate in the Rio Games, with 31 sportsmen having so far qualified for the Olympics.
Prior to it athletes Amaliya Sharoyan (long jump), Levon Aghasyan (triple jump), Gayane Chiloyan (running), Diana Khubeseryan (running), Lilit Harutyunyan (hurdles) have won Olympic berths. …read more
