Starting April 21, a new airline called Armenia will carry out flights from Armenia to European countries at $49, without paying the taxes set by Zvartnots Airport. Talking to media representatives on March 9, Tamaz Gaiashvili, one of the shareholders of the Armenia airline, said tickets will cost about €100.
He said the company will operate regular flights to Russia, specifically to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov, Samara, Sochi, as well as Tehran, Dubai, Prague, Tel Aviv, Kiev, Minsk, Barcelona, Frankfurt, London and Cyprus.
