The Ukrainian Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, has announced about his resignation, blaming politicians’ failure to enact “real changes.”
Announcing his resignation on Twitter, Mr Yatsenyuk called for the formation of a new government immediately to prevent “destabilization of [the] executive branch during a war”.
He said he would submit his resignation application to the parliament in Tuesday, April 12.
Analysts say Yatsenyuk will be replaced American of Ukrainian descent.
As of today,” Mr Yatsenyuk tweeted on Sunday, “my goals are broader: new electoral law, Constitutional reform, Judicial reform, Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO.” …read more
