Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been hospitalised with COVID-19.
And spokeswoman for Zelensky told Reuters that his illness is “nothing serious” despite his admission to a hospital.
Ukraine’s daily coronavirus cases are at an all-time high.
Zelensky played a pivotal role in US politics — President Donald Trump was impeached over a phonecall he made to Zelensky in the summer of 2019.
