For a while there it seemed that international travel was having a slight edifying effect on Donald Trump’s tone and language. However, after leaving South Korea, it turns out that the effect was better defined as “being in artillery range.” Now that Trump is having cool PJ parties with Putin and smiling over the miracle of visiting Vietnam, on Veteran’s Day, without even a twinge from those awful, awful bone spurs, he’s dragged out the phone for some remarks that would embarrass the average third grader.
