The Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has commenced a sunset review of hot rolled plate (HRP) imports from China, Singapore and Ukraine to establish whether dumping practices are still in place.The steel products have been subject to anti-dumping duties since 2011, which will be soon removed once there is no new evidence of unfair trade practices.KADI chief Ernawati said the investigation followed up the request by three domestic steel makers, namely PT Gunung Rajapaksi, PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel and PT Jaya Pari Steel.“We are carrying out the probe to see whether dumping still exists and whether domestic manufacturers suffer losses due to …read more
