UK prime minister David Cameron is using the G7 summit to push Europe to think bigger on Ebola, announcing a British rapid response unit and a €20 million initial investment push.
“The reality is that we will face an outbreak like Ebola again and that virus could be more aggressive and more difficult to contain,” Cameron said in a statement on Sunday. “It is time to wake up to that threat and I will be raising this issue at the G7.”
