LONDON â U.K. cabinet ministers and a foreign statesman are “courting” David Cameron to raise his hand to be the next secretary general of NATO, according to people familiar with the situation.
Barely half a year since stepping down as prime minister, Cameron has held what one British official called âconversationsâ about the top job at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Brussels. He’s not ruled it out, though Cameron has on separate occasions refused to make any commitment, these people said.
