The Polish ministry of foreign affairs on Wednesday said the country is ready to “plead its case before the European Court of Justice†in response to the European Commission’s decision to launch an infringement procedure against Warsaw for failing to comply with its obligations on migration.
The Commission Tuesday said it would prepare penalties over refugee inaction against Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary for refusing to accept any refugees as part of an EU relocation scheme.
