Neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton “are setting the best example” with their presidential campaigns, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Bloomberg published Friday.
“They’re both using shock tactics, just each in their own way,” Putin said, amid allegations that the Kremlin is favoring the Republican nominee as a means of exerting greater control over the American political system and government in the years to come.
Putin, in addition to denying his government’s involvement with the hacking of Democratic National Convention servers, slammed the candidates using the “anti-Russian card,” calling those suggestions “short-sighted.”
