KYIV, Ukraine — Justin Trudeau has arrived in Ukraine after an emotional tour of the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland.
The prime minister will spend the next few days meeting with the country’s leaders and civil society groups.
He is expected to sign a free trade agreement, as well as discuss Russia, the civil war in eastern Ukraine, and efforts to stamp out corruption.
Earlier today before leaving Poland, Trudeau visited the scene where more than one million people, mostly Jews, were killed during the Second World War.
