WARSAW, Poland (AP) — A prosecutor in southern Poland says a Ukrainian man has been put under arrest on a request from the U.S. where he is wanted on suspicion of stealing and laundering at least $10 million.
Boguslaw Marcinkowska, spokeswoman for the prosecutors in Krakow, said Tuesday that the 45-year-old man, identified only as Oleksander K., was put under arrest last week, until mid-January, pending further requests from the U.S.
