OTTAWA – An Ottawa-based Ukrainian organization is trying to ensure that people in the war-torn country have easier access to mental health resources.
The Canada Ukrainian Foundation has developed a mobile app designed to help people flag potential mental health concerns and find treatments in their area.
The app, called Mobile Psychological Assistance, allows users to complete assessment surveys to help them determine what kind of referral they may need.
The app then allows people to find local resources to treat conditions ranging from post-traumatic stress disorder to insomnia.
