Bulgarian Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev reassured on Wednesday that no mobilisation was taking place in the country.
Nenchev also dismissed rumours that NATO had requested the participation of Bulgarian troops in operations due to the Ukrainian crisis.
He explained in an interview for the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) that if there is such a request, the Bulgarian Parliament will have to cast its vote on it.
In his words, although other allied countries were closer to Ukraine, the hysteria was rife only in Bulgaria.
