The Bulgaria city of Ruse hosts a festival of ice sculptures on Svoboda (Liberty) square between December 14 and 22.
The Ruse Ice Fest will bring together sculptors from eight countries – Bulgaria, Belgium, France, Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Russia and Ukraine.
This is the second edition of the festival and it will be twice larger in size than last year, with the organisers having provided 130 ice blocks.
The theme of the festival, which was officially unveiled on Wednesday, is “Ruse in dreams of ice”.
