Following his victorious start at doubles, Bulgarian tennis player repeated his success in his first singles match for the new season.
Dimitrov won against Jeremy Chardy (France) with 3:6, 6:4, 7:6 (10:8) in the second round of the men’s singles competition of the Brisbane International tournament.
The match was intense and kept the audience in suspense until the last second, as Dimitrov won after saving two match points and coming back from a set down, in a game that lasted for two hours and a half.
