Moldova Votes for President in Runoff


Voting is underway in Moldova where the two candidates have differing views on the country’s future.
For the first time since 1997, the head of state will be elected by voters themselves and not by Parliament.
Moldovans are choosing between Socialist Party leader and ex-Trade Minister Igor Dodon, who has indicated he would pursue closer ties with Russia and reverse EU integration, former World Bank economist and Education Minister who wants to maintain closer economic and political relationship with the EU.
