English football team Portsmouth honoured retired Bulgarian striker Svetoslav Todorov by admitting him to the club’s hall of fame.
The Bulgarian was one of four players to be admitted to the club’s hall of fame together with Noel Blake, Dave Kemp and Billy Haines, who was honoured posthumously.
Todorov is best remembered for scoring the goal, which secured the promotion of Portsmouth to the Premier League in 2003.
In the 2002-2003 season, the Bulgarian scored a total of 26 goals, becoming the top goalscorer of Division One.
