U.S. President Barack Obama travels to Germany Saturday for the two-day meeting of the Group of Seven, the world’s seven leading industrialized countries.
While trade is the official agenda for the gathering, the crisis in Ukraine, including Russia’s annexation of the Ukraine’s Crimea is expected to be high on the agenda.
Russia had been part of what was known as the Group of Eight since 1998, but was expelled last year over its activities in Ukraine.
