The U.S. ambassador to Canada says it’s important not to “confuse” Russia’s provocative actions in Ukraine with the need to co-operate with Moscow on other “entirely separate” issues such as the Arctic.
Ambassador Bruce Heyman’s comments came during in a wide-ranging interview to mark U.S. Independence Day on Saturday, during which he maintained relations between his country and Canada are on track despite reports to the contrary.
