Taxpayers will have to wait until next year before they find out how much Canada’s military contribution to deal with the crisis in Ukraine is costing them.
Figures will not be available until the end of March, 2105, almost a year after the first military units were sent overseas, according to the Canadian Forces. Even estimates of what it will cost taxpayers for the deployment of ships, aircraft and troops aren’t available.
