Beginning Thursday and until Aug. 20, Strathcona Park in Sandy Hill will resound with the costumed comedy of the Amorous Servant, presented by Odyssey Theatre. For more than 30 years, Odyssey has presented outdoor summer theatre in Ottawa, drawing on the tradition and works of Commedia dell’Arte, an Italian Renaissance art form in which actors wear masks and perform in satirical, boisterous plays. In The Amorous Servant, Corallina is a mischievous matchmaker who surmounts the corruption around her.
