Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski went 1-for-2 in French Open doubles tennis matches on Sunday.
Dabrowski and Rohan Bopanna of India, the No. 7 seeds, earned a spot in the quarterfinals of mixed doubles by defeating France’s Chloe Paquet and Benoît Paire 6-3, 6-2 in a second-round match.
Dabrowski and Bopanna are scheduled to play that quarterfinal match in Paris against the No. 2 seeds, Sania Mirza of India and Ivan Dodig of Croatia, on Monday.
Mirza and Dodig defeated Elina Svitolina of Ukraine and Artem Sitak of New Zealand in their own second-round match.
