As the Hill prepares to shut down for the weekend, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continues his northern tour with a trek to Yellowknife, where, alongside Indigenous Affairs Minister Carolyn Bennett and Northwest Territories Premier Michael McLeod, he’ll meet with Canadian Forces members stationed at Joint Task Force North.
Later this morning, he’ll host a town hall session at a local multiplex arena, pay a visit to the N’dilo Aboriginal Head Start facilities and pay a visit to the Snowking’s Winter Festival Ice Castle before wrapping up his day by taking questions from reporters at Mildred Hall School.
