The sculpture of Canadian jazz icon Oscar Peterson in downtown Ottawa has been vandalized – or perhaps painted over as a protest – and the National Arts Centre has surveillance footage that it’s handing over to police.
Meanwhile, the artist who made the sculpture is thrilled by the suggestion that the act may be one of racial protest.
