One of the interesting aspects that came out of a recent article by Murray Brewster of the Canadian Press is that the Ukraine doesn’t want lethal aid from Canada. This claim is being made by the Conservative government.
As those who will have read Murray’s article will know, Canada plans to send the Ukrainian army more than $22 million worth of cold-weather gear, including jackets and boots. Defence Minister Rob Nicholson made the announcement Wednesday.
The donations come from surplus military stocks, the article noted.
