The direction of the self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic denounced today the attack against rebel positions by artillery led by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) advisers.
Kiev.-The NATO artillery fired openly on the positions of self-defense of Donetsk in the locality of Yasinovatoi, indicated deputy chief of the operative command of that region, Eduard Basurin. In the attack were used 82 and 120-millimeter mortars. Artillery preparation against rebel positions was directed by brigades of the Atlantic Alliance which arrived yesterday for conducting field tests of new weapons, he informed.
