Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk revealed on Wednesday that an accident has occurred at a nuclear plant in south-east Ukraine.
After the announcement, Mr. Yatsenyuk asked the energy minister to hold a press conference in order to inform the public on the current situation and the measures taken by the ministry.
According to the information released so far, the minor accident occurred at the Zaporozhskaya nuclear plant on November 28, an information that was verified by the Ukrainian PM. News agency Interfax said the problem had occurred at bloc No 3 and more specifically at a 1,000-megawatt reactor.
