The large explosion that hit Ukraine’s Donestk region on Sunday night–which many erroneously thought was a nuclear weapon–was spotted from space.
A NATO satellite apparently captured the explosion, and it’s a sight to behold.

Earlier reports say it was a either an artillery attack on a chemical plant or on a weapons depot. Ukrainian news site TSN.ua reported that right-wing politician Dmitry Yarosh said the blast killed about “200 terrorists.”
