A new Malaysian airline said Tuesday it intends to buy 20 Bombadier CS100
aircraft in a US$1.47 billion deal as it looks to tap Southeast
Asia’s fast growing travel market.
The new firm, flymojo, made the announcement at the start of the the
five-day International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition in Langkawi, Malaysia.
The deal, which would mark the first sale of the CS100 in Southeast
Asia for Bombadier, also includes the option for the purchase of a
further 20 planes, possibly increasing the value to $2.94 billion.
