The rupiah interbank trade in Jakarta on Monday afternoon depreciated slightly by three basis points to Rp 11,693 per US dollar.Bank Himpuan Saudara analyst Rully Nova said that external sentiment from the US had hampered the appreciation of the rupiah, even though the Indonesian trade balance recorded a surplus and the inflation rate was stable. “The rupiah tends to depreciate when the US economic data is positive.
