The House committees leading the impeachment inquiry on Friday released a transcript of the closed-door testimony of Alexander Vindman, a lieutenant colonel in the Army and director of European affairs on the National Security Council.
As the top Ukraine expert in NSC, Vindman had a unique view into the President Trump’s Ukraine gambit, and was the first witness to testify in the probe who had listened to the fateful July 25 Trump call with Ukraine’s president.
