Bill Barr was in the hot seat this week. In back-to-back Capitol Hill hearings, lawmakers grilled the Attorney General on his handling of the (very) long-awaited Mueller report.
First came the House Appropriations Committee hearing, where Barr testified that he had no intention of submitting the full, unredacted report to Congress or of asking a court to authorize the release of grand jury materials. Barr also said Mueller specifically declined to review the March 24 letter he put out absolving Trump on the obstruction and collusion fronts.
