Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s ties to two Russian figures have been simmering at the surface of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe for more than a year, but Tuesday’s revelation that Manafort stands accused of seeking to share campaign polling data with those Russians brought the relationships fully into focus.
