Opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was looking ahead to a planned opposition rally Sunday that he anticipated would be an important step in a long struggle, though in an interview with RFE/RL’s Russian Service earlier this month, he portrayed the demonstration as just a first step in a long struggle.
